| Le Betty B est une maquette construite d’après
un plan de Howard I Chapelle : 35 foot Utility Launch. Ce plan a été
tiré de son livre « Boatbuilding ». Les plans ont été
photocopié, puis tracé ensuite à l’échelle
1:2. Le bateau est construit en tilleul, sur une période de trois
semaines. Il est présenté dans un diorama : l’eau
consiste simplement en une feuille de plexiglass bleue et ondulée
dans laquelle une ouverture a été pratiquée pour
y insérer le bateau. Le nom « Betty B » est fictif
et ne représente pas un bateau ayant déjà existé.
The Betty B is a model built from a Howard

blue plexiglass in which an opening was cut to place the boat. The name
