I began building models around the age of 7 years old and I built planes, cars, boats, rockets, etc.
During my teenage, I built a collection of 106 planes from Airfix, at 1/72 scale. After that period,
I was mostly interested in boats and scratchbuilding.

Today, I am interested in any type of model, but mostly boats and dioramas. I love to put a lot of details so that my models look very realistic. My interest are mostly static models, but since few years, I am also interested in radiocontroled models and I am an active member of the « Club Champlain » from Laval area, Quebec.

I am a subscriber to many magazines since more than 20 years, and I have a lot of books on models and ships. Through the years, I have kept on a database the different articles and photos of my magazines (more than 8000 items) and I try to keep it to date so that I can research any subject I want.

I have special interest in naval architecture (of any era), and in the merchant marine of the first half of the XXth century.
But I am open to any maritime subject.
